ArbeitThe goal of the Alpine Space Project “ALPSTAR, Toward Carbon Neutral Alps – Make Best Practice Minimum Standard”, is to achieve climate neutrality in the Alps by 2050. In this section you will find events notes, news about the activities of the project partner “Alpine Town of the Year Association” and communication on the project development and results. A newsletter informs you regularly on the project’s news. It can be subscribed to here free of charge.

In four workshops we will talk about, show and discuss how the Alps can be transformed into a carbon-neutral Region. Good practices from pilot regions in all Alpine countries and success stories of climate protection, improving quality of life, will be presented. The workshops will take place between autumn 2012 and spring 2014 in several Alpine towns.  More
